Dunsville celebrates VE Day

A message from the staff

Christmas at Dunsville!

Dunsville Primary has been trimmed up for Christmas! Take a look at our fabulous displays based on the children's work. It certainly feels festive at school.

Here are some photographs of past activities in school.

On 26th June 2012 the Olympic Torch bearer ran right across the entrance to our school. The children waited patiently for the torch to pass. They had a wonderful time as they waved and cheered and even 'high fived' the motorcycle police officers escorting the runner.

As the runner approached huge vehicles playing music came past and the children cheered.

Then there he was - right in front of them - carrying the famous torch - urged on by a deafening cheer from the children of Dunsville Primary.

And then he was gone . . .

. . . on his way to London and the 2012 Olympics.

Our nursery children made fantastic Easter Bonnets

The children and staff certainly enjoyed our Jubilee celebration day on 1st June 2012. The non uniform theme was red, white and blue with a special appearance from HRH!!

We ended Book Week on 17th June with a dressing up day - pupils and staff dressed as book characters for the day!

We are very proud to have achieved the 'Leading Parent Partnership Award' (LPPA)
